So far in 2018, Fair Haven has responded to 54 hospital calls where we’ve advocated for the needs of sexual assault victims. This is in addition to the 25 judicial clients we’re working with to navigate the complicated court system and 250 individual advocacy/group sessions we’ve done to help bring hope and healing to survivors of sexual assault. Our Education department has had the opportunity to go into area elementary, middle, and high schools and educate over 10,000 children on lures that are consistently used in predatory crimes against children.
Fair Haven’s fiscal year ends July 31, 2018. We’re asking if you would be willing to partner with us by standing in the gap these last weeks of our fiscal year?
Would you be willing to make a special donation of $50, $100, or whatever you can afford to help us meet our year-end budget? In addition to monetary donations, we are in need of the items listed at the end of this letter.
We simply can’t do this work without the generous support of our community. Your support will make a real, lasting impact in the lives of Lake County’s survivors of sexual assault.
We’ve set up a page on First Giving where you can contribute directly or please feel free to mail a donation to Fair Haven, 2645 Ridge Road, Highland, Indiana 46322. All monetary donations are 100% tax deductible.
