Becca Emerson

Becca has been a resident of Lake County her entire life. She graduated from Purdue University Northwest in December, 2016 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Services, and her specialization was Child and Family Studies. While she began her college career in the nursing program, she decided half way through that it wasn't for her and decided to change her major on a whim. She truly believes this was God's plan all along, putting her on the path to find her true passion in life.

After working at the local Aurelio's for six years, she finally dove head first into her career, working in the Children’s Department at St Jude House, a domestic violence shelter located in Crown Point. This was when she was first introduced to Fair Haven.

Becca began volunteering on the Crisis Intervention Team July of 2015, and this is when she found her avenue for life. After a year of volunteering, the position of Victim Advocate became available and she jumped straight forward. Since coming on board, she has realized now that this is where she is intended to be.

Becca enjoys long drives with good music, family vacations, and a good pepperoni pizza.
