Crisis Intervention Department
In 2012, LaToya received her Associate's degree from Ivy Tech in Healthcare Support/Management. From there, she went on to work at Porter Regional Hospital. While working there, Latoya built a rapport with the patients that further enhanced her desire to aid others. Working at the hospital opened her eyes to the world of good she could do in human services, it was the driving force behind her passion to work in the human services field. LaToya went on to graduate with Honors from Calumet College of Saint Joseph in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with concentrations in Family and chemical dependency Counseling.
Latoya is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and providing a safe and structured support system for those in need. She is very excited to be a part of the Fair Haven team and happy to serve as a Victim Advocate. Latoya places high value on listening to all individuals and understanding their needs. Her experience at Fair Haven has given her a deep appreciation for how nonprofits seek to improve the quality of life for our region; one person at a time.
